WisdomJob 24:1–25
Job 24 asks why God’s times are not plainly seen. In this speech, Job describes grave wrongs against vulnerable people, then people who rebel against the light, and finally the tension of their temporary security and their passing end.
WisdomJob 25:1–6
Bildad’s short reply speaks about God’s greatness and human smallness. In a few lines, he asks how any human could be counted clean or righteous before God, using the heavens to make his point.
WisdomJob 26:1–14
Job answers with sharp questions and then turns to God’s greatness. This passage shows both Job’s criticism of powerless human words and his awe at how far God’s rule reaches.
WisdomJob 27:1–6
In these verses, Job speaks firmly about truthfulness and integrity. He feels deeply wronged, yet he still chooses his words carefully and refuses to say what he believes is false.
WisdomJob 27:7–23
In this part of Job’s speech, he describes what he calls the portion of the wicked. He asks searching questions about the godless person’s hope and prayer, then uses sharp images of loss, weakness and removal.

In Job 29, Job looks back with longing to an earlier season of life. He remembers God’s care, the respect others gave him, the help he gave to vulnerable people, and the influence his words once carried.

In Job 30:1–14, Job speaks about a painful reversal. People he describes with contempt now mock him, reject him and press against him with destructive force.

In this part of Job’s speech, he uses sharp, sorrowful images to describe suffering that has overtaken his honour, body, prayer, and music.
WisdomJob 31:1–40
In Job 31, Job makes a final appeal about his conduct. He denies specific wrongs, accepts fitting penalties if he were guilty, and calls on the Almighty to answer him.

Job 32:1-22 introduces Elihu after Job’s three friends stop answering. The passage explains why Elihu is angry, why he has been silent, and why he now chooses to speak within this wisdom dialogue.
WisdomJob 33:1–33
In Job 33, Elihu asks Job to listen carefully. He says he speaks sincerely, repeats Job’s complaint, and argues that God may speak in more than one way to turn a person back from ruin.
WisdomJob 34:1–37
Elihu answers with a firm defence of God’s justice. He asks listeners to test words carefully, then argues that God does not do wickedness, sees every human way, and deserves a humble response.
WisdomJob 35:1–16
In this part of Job, Elihu answers with a challenge about justice, profit, and prayer. He argues that human actions do not put God in debt, yet they do affect other people, and he questions proud or empty cries.
WisdomJob 36:1–33
In Job 36:1–33, Elihu continues his speech about God’s character and power. He says God is mighty, just, and wise, and he uses both affliction and the workings of the weather to make his point.

In Job 37:1-24, Elihu uses thunder, rain, snow, clouds and sky to speak about God’s majesty.
WisdomJob 38:1–41
In Job 38:1–41, Yahweh answers Job from the whirlwind with searching questions. Instead of giving Job an explanation here, Yahweh points to parts of creation that Job cannot make, command or fully know.

In Job 39, the LORD speaks by asking Job about animals people cannot fully watch, direct or understand.
WisdomJob 40:1–5
In these verses, Yahweh speaks directly to Job and Job gives a brief reply. The exchange is short, but it shows a major change in Job’s posture as he stops arguing and falls silent before God.
WisdomJob 40:6–24
In Job 40:6–24, Yahweh answers Job with questions and a challenge. The passage does not explain suffering directly.

Job 41:1–34 uses pointed questions and vivid description to show Leviathan as a creature no person can master.
