Meet Ahab.

A king challenged by Elijah.

Ahab: a quiet historically appropriate setting for A king challenged by Elijah, with simple understated contextual details; no invented dramatic event

Who was Ahab?

Ahab ruled the northern kingdom of Israel and was married to Jezebel. Elijah challenged him about worship and injustice. The Bible describes royal power being used in ways that harmed others.

Ahab wanted Naboth's vineyard. After Jezebel arranged Naboth's death, Ahab took the land, and Elijah confronted him. Wanting something did not give the king a right to take it.
