Who was Caleb?
Caleb was one of the scouts sent to explore Canaan. He and Joshua spoke differently from the other scouts about the challenge ahead. He later received land associated with Hebron.
Caleb urged the people to trust God when they were frightened. The account is part of Israel's particular journey, not an instruction for children to copy military actions.
