Meet Dorcas.

A disciple known for practical care.

Dorcas: a quiet historically appropriate setting for A disciple known for practical care, with simple understated contextual details; no invented dramatic event

Who was Dorcas?

Dorcas, also called Tabitha, was a disciple in Joppa known for good works and helping people in need. Acts describes the community's grief when she died and Peter praying before she was restored to life.

The widows showed Peter clothing Dorcas had made. These ordinary, useful objects showed how much her practical care had meant to people.
