Who was Mordecai?
Mordecai was a Jewish man living in the Persian Empire and a relative who raised Esther. He helped her understand the threat to their people. His choices are part of the wider account of danger and deliverance.
Mordecai urged Esther to consider speaking to the king. Esther then asked for support, so their response involved communication and shared preparation.
