Meet Naphtali.

One of Jacob's sons.

Naphtali: a quiet historically appropriate setting for One of Jacob's sons, with simple understated contextual details; no invented dramatic event

Who was Naphtali?

Naphtali was a son of Jacob and Bilhah. His name later became the name of a tribe and its territory. Genesis gives a short birth notice within a complicated household story.

The surrounding verses describe the adults' rivalry, but that rivalry does not define the child's worth. Later references may concern the tribe rather than the individual.
