Meet Nehemiah.

Rebuilding and organizing a community.

Nehemiah: a quiet historically appropriate setting for Rebuilding and organizing a community, with simple understated contextual details; no invented dramatic event

Who was Nehemiah?

Nehemiah served as a cupbearer to the Persian king before helping rebuild Jerusalem's wall. He prayed, planned and organised people. His account also includes concern about unfair treatment within the community.

Nehemiah listened when people complained about debt and exploitation. Rebuilding a wall was not enough if neighbours were being treated unjustly.
