Meet Shamgar.
A briefly mentioned deliverer.
Who was Shamgar?
Shamgar is briefly described in Judges as a deliverer of Israel. The account names his father as Anath and includes a military action. It gives no childhood story or lengthy biography.
Only a small amount is recorded about Shamgar. We can place him in the judges' history without turning the brief violent detail into an activity to copy.
