Meet Shiphrah.

A midwife protecting life.

Shiphrah: a quiet historically appropriate setting for A midwife protecting life, with simple understated contextual details; no invented dramatic event

Who was Shiphrah?

Shiphrah was a midwife named alongside Puah in Exodus. They refused Pharaoh's order to kill Hebrew boys and protected the children. Both women are remembered for their part in resisting the harmful command.

The midwives' care for life stood against the ruler's demand. Their example belongs with teaching that human authority can be wrong and that vulnerable people need protection.

Shiphrah carefully wrapping a newborn while Puah assists a resting mother, gentle care, no childbirth detail.
