Who was Stephen?
Stephen was one of the seven chosen to help the early Jerusalem church. Acts describes his service, wisdom and witness about Jesus. His story later includes his killing, which needs non-graphic adult guidance.
Stephen was first named among helpers chosen when widows were being overlooked. Service and fair care are part of his story before the account of his death.
