Bible values for children

Be someone others can depend on.

Being dependable in small things.

Small, repeated acts of care help others know they can rely on us.

Put it into practice

What does faithfulness look like?

Faithfulness means being dependable over time. We can keep a reasonable promise and tell the truth when we cannot do what we planned. Small, repeated acts of care help others know they can rely on us.

If you promise to return a borrowed book tomorrow, put it somewhere you will remember. If you forget, explain and make a new plan.

Talk about it

What can help you remember a promise?

Verses to remember

He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.
Luke 16:10 ↗ · World English Bible Classic

A little context

Luke 16:10 speaks about being trustworthy in small and large matters within teaching about money and responsibility. It does not say a single mistake makes someone permanently untrustworthy.
