Bible verses for children

Use a gift as something entrusted.

1 Peter 4:10

A diverse community of adults and children contributes different abilities to a shared meal: one prepares bread, one carries cups, one welcomes a newcomer, another plays music
As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.

In simple words

What does this verse mean?

A steward or manager cares for something received. Gifts are to serve others rather than prove importance. Different abilities can become different expressions of grace within the same community.

Use one ability to make a task easier for someone, without demanding praise.
