Bible verses for children

God’s care does not wear out.

Isaiah 40:28

A vast star-filled sky above ancient mountains, a golden dawn beginning along the distant horizon and a quiet river winding through the landscape
Haven’t you known? Haven’t you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

Isaiah 40:28 · World English Bible Classic (WEB)

In simple words

What does this verse mean?

People become tired and need rest. Isaiah describes the Creator as enduring beyond those limits, with understanding beyond ours. God’s greatness does not make our need for sleep a weakness.

Accept a needed break and remember that you do not have to carry everything alone.

Talk about it

What reminds you that resting is a good human need?
