Bible verses for children
Strength for the next step.
Isaiah 40:31
but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

In simple words
What does this verse mean?
Eagles’ wings picture renewed strength and lift. Waiting for God means hopeful dependence, not doing nothing. Sometimes renewal looks like courage to walk one more ordinary step with support.
After a tiring task, rest, ask for help and choose one manageable next step.

Bible context & readings +
Isaiah 40:27–31 addresses exhaustion and feeling forgotten. Flying, running and walking describe renewal poetically; the verse does not promise endless physical energy or remove the need for care.
