Bible verses for children

Good growth is still unfolding.

Philippians 1:6

A child and an older mentor tend a young tree showing healthy new leaves and a few small buds, both patient and attentive
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

In simple words

What does this verse mean?

Paul trusts that God will continue the good work begun in the community. Growth takes time and is sustained by grace. Being unfinished is not the same as being abandoned.

Notice a small step of growth and encourage someone who is still learning.

Talk about it
