Bible verses for children

You can say no to a wrong choice.

Proverbs 1:10

A worried child is encouraged by a caring adult to speak kindly and confidently to a small friendly group, all standing in a safe courtyard
My son, if sinners entice you, don’t consent.

Proverbs 1:10 · World English Bible Classic (WEB)

In simple words

What does this verse mean?

Entice means trying to persuade someone to join in. This advice says we do not have to agree when a group invites us to do wrong. Belonging matters, but hurting someone is too high a price for being accepted.

If a group wants you to hide another child’s belongings, say no and move away. Tell a trusted adult if someone is being targeted.

Talk about it

What could you say when a group invites you to hurt someone?
