Bible verses for children
An honest little is better.
Proverbs 16:8

Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues with injustice.
Proverbs 16:8 · World English Bible Classic (WEB)
In simple words
What does this verse mean?
Revenue means money coming in. This proverb values a modest amount gained rightly above large profits built on injustice. How something is gained matters, not only how much we end up with. Winning by cheating is not the better result.
If a game offers a chance to get extra points by breaking a rule, choose to play fairly. A smaller honest score is something you can stand behind.
Talk about it
Why might a smaller fair result be better than a large unfair one?

Bible context & readings +
Proverbs 16:8 is a comparison of wealth with righteousness and injustice. It does not romanticise having too little to live on. It challenges the idea that a large gain excuses the harm used to obtain it.
