Trust beyond what you know.
Proverbs 3:5

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.

In simple words
What does this verse mean?
Leaning on something means relying on it for support. The verse warns against treating our own understanding as all we need. Trusting God leaves room for humility, learning and guidance; it does not mean that thinking carefully or asking questions is wrong.
When you feel certain you know the answer, listen to someone with more experience. You can pray for guidance and still check facts and think things through.

Proverbs 3:5–7 connects wholehearted trust with acknowledging God and refusing to be wise only in our own eyes. Verse 6 continues the thought about direction. Read them together rather than turning trust into a command to stop reasoning.
