Bible verses for children
Older people have gifts to share.
Psalm 92:14

They will still produce fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,

In simple words
What does this verse mean?
The psalm compares faithful people to trees that still bear fruit in old age. Fruit pictures the good that grows from a life, such as encouragement and wisdom. People remain valuable even when their bodies are weaker or they cannot do as much as before.
Ask an older person about a story, skill or memory they would like to share. Listen patiently, and remember that enjoying their company matters as much as learning something.

Psalm 92:12–15 compares the righteous to flourishing palms and cedars planted near God. The tree imagery describes enduring life and witness. It should not be used to measure older people’s worth by health, productivity or how busy they remain.
