Who was Benjamin?
Benjamin was the youngest son of Jacob and Rachel and Joseph's younger brother. Rachel died around his birth. Later, his brothers' decisions about him became important in Joseph's story in Egypt.
Judah offered to stay in Benjamin's place when Benjamin was threatened with being kept in Egypt. The scene shows a change from the brothers' earlier treatment of Joseph.
