Who was Deborah?
Deborah was a prophet and judge in Israel. People came to her for decisions, and she gave Barak a message about leading against an oppressing army. She was an important leader in her own right.
Barak asked Deborah to go with him, and she agreed. Their story gives us a chance to notice leadership, cooperation and the help people seek when a task feels difficult.
