Who was Isaiah?
Isaiah was a prophet whose ministry was connected with Judah and Jerusalem. His book contains warnings, visions and promises of hope. Christians also read parts of Isaiah in connection with Jesus.
In the call vision, Isaiah responded, “Here I am. Send me!” The scene is a particular prophetic calling, not a demand that every child take on a dangerous task.
