Who was Mary Magdalene?
Mary Magdalene was a follower of Jesus. She supported his ministry with other women and was present in the accounts of his death and resurrection. She is not identified as the unnamed woman of Luke 7.
In John 20, Mary went to the disciples and announced that she had seen the risen Lord. Her witness is an important part of the resurrection account.
