Who was Timothy?
Timothy was a younger coworker of Paul who helped teach and care for churches. The letters addressed to him remember the faith of his mother Eunice and grandmother Lois. His youth did not make his contribution unimportant.
Timothy was encouraged to be an example through speech, conduct, love, faith and purity. Leadership was connected with how he lived, not only with what he knew.
