How to play

  1. Drag the five loaves and two fish into their matching food baskets.
  2. Move the serving basket to each pictured group that is still waiting for food.
  3. Drag all twelve leftover baskets to the collection area.

Learning through play

Children practise counting objects, matching food types and tracking which groups have been served. Adults can connect the five loaves, two fish and twelve baskets with the account, while explaining that the small game groups illustrate a much larger crowd.

For Sunday school, homeschool or play at home. Younger children can play alongside an adult.

About the Bible story

Jesus gave thanks and the disciples served five loaves and two fish to the crowd. Everyone ate, and twelve baskets of leftovers were collected. The practice groups do not represent the full crowd.
