Bible values for children
You matter. So do others.
Remembering everyone matters.
We do not have to be the most important person in the room.

Put it into practice
What does humility look like?
Humility means remembering that we are valuable and other people are too. We can listen, learn and share credit. We do not have to be the most important person in the room.
When your group makes a good model, mention how each person helped instead of taking all the credit.
Talk about it
What is something another person can teach you?
Meet the people
JesusVerses to remember
doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
A little context
Philippians 2:1–8 connects humility with care for other people's interests and the example of Christ. It does not teach that a person has no worth or should accept mistreatment.
