Bible verses for children
Good intentions need support.
Matthew 26:41
Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

In simple words
What does this verse mean?
Jesus asks his disciples to stay alert and pray. Wanting to do right is not always enough when we are weak or tired. Recognising limits helps us seek support before a hard choice.
If tiredness makes a task difficult, ask for a break or help rather than pretending you are fine.
