Meet Abednego.

Faithfulness alongside friends.

Abednego: a quiet historically appropriate setting for Faithfulness alongside friends, with simple understated contextual details; no invented dramatic event

Who was Abednego?

Abednego was one of Daniel's three friends in Babylon. His Hebrew name was Azariah. Alongside Shadrach and Meshach, he refused to worship the king's golden image.

The friends said they would not worship the image even if they were not rescued. Their story does not teach that every faithful person will escape physical danger.
