Meet Philip the apostle.

A disciple who invites others.

Philip the apostle: a quiet historically appropriate setting for A disciple who invites others, with simple understated contextual details; no invented dramatic event

Who was Philip the apostle?

Philip was one of Jesus' apostles. John's Gospel describes Jesus calling him and Philip inviting Nathanael to come and see. He is different from Philip the evangelist in Acts.

Philip brought Nathanael an invitation even when Nathanael had doubts. His response encouraged an encounter rather than turning the question into an argument.
