What does wisdom look like?

Wisdom means learning to make thoughtful choices using what we know. We can ask God for help, listen to good advice and think about what might happen. Knowing many facts is useful, but wisdom helps us put understanding into practice.

Verses to remember

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

A little context

James 1:5 encourages asking God for wisdom in a passage about trials and endurance. It does not mean every idea that comes to mind is automatically God's answer.
