Printing tipsThe story behind the craft
Bible passage: Matthew 5:9; Galatians 5:22–23
Jesus calls peacemakers blessed, and Paul names peace among the Spirit’s fruit. A dove can serve as a visual reminder of peace, though these verses do not describe a dove-shaped event.
Main takeaway: Peacemaking involves active care and fair, nonviolent choices.
Before you wear the crown
Read the crown’s words and look at its story or symbol details before using it as a reminder.
Use the dove as a reminder while naming an action such as listening, sharing or asking for help. Keeping quiet about harm is not the same as making peace.
Younger learners can choose one pictured detail to talk about. Older learners can explain the reminder without assuming that every crown design is about a king or queen.
Questions to explore
- What might a peacemaker do first?
- How can listening reduce a misunderstanding?
- When is adult help needed to make a situation safer?
