Printing tipsThe story behind the craft
Suggested Bible reading: Exodus 2–20
This collection introduces episodes from Israel’s departure from Egypt and journey into the wilderness. Moses’ early life, the call, plagues, crossing, provision and commandments happen at different stages.
Main takeaway: The Exodus sequence moves from slavery towards freedom and a new community responsibility.
When you turn the cube
Choose one face of the cube and read its words or discuss its picture before turning to another.
Locate the selected side or scene within the wider journey. Keep the escape from Egypt before the wilderness food and Sinai events.
Younger learners can respond to one face with help. Older learners can connect two faces with the relevant passage and explain whether they are events, themes or prayer prompts.
Questions to explore
- Which stage of the journey is shown?
- What need or responsibility appears there?
- How does that event connect with what happened before it?
