Printing tipsThe story behind the craft
Bible passage: Matthew 25:14–30
A master entrusts different amounts of money to his servants before travelling. Two put what they receive to work; another hides his portion and later explains that he was afraid.
Main takeaway: The parable asks how we respond to responsibilities entrusted to us.
As you reflect and write
Use the story activity and question sheet first, then write a reflection letter to revisit later.
Notice that talents in this passage are sums of money. Afterwards connect responsible use of what we receive with time, abilities or resources today.
An adult can scribe a younger learner’s response. Older learners can choose a specific thought or action for their letter and later reflect on it without treating the capsule as a prediction.
Questions to explore
- What was entrusted to the servants?
- How did fear affect one servant’s decision?
- How could we use something entrusted to us responsibly?
