Make a little empty-tomb scene

You’ll needPaper, crayons, a paper plate or a spare piece of card, scissors and glue.

For younger children, prepare the circle and tomb opening beforehand. Older children can add a reference to Luke 24:6 and retell the discovery to a partner.

  1. Fold a piece of card so your scene can stand. Draw a garden and an open tomb.

  2. Cut a large paper circle for the stone. Ask a grown-up to help with cutting.

  3. Place the stone beside the opening. Add flowers and tell the Easter story in your own words.

For the grown-ups
