Romans 5:1–5; Romans 5:6–11; Romans 5:12–21
Romans 5 links several big truths together: peace with God through Jesus Christ, hope that continues through suffering, God’s love shown in Christ’s death for sinners, and the contrast between Adam’s trespass and Christ’s gracious gift.
Romans 6:1–14; Romans 6:15–23
Romans 6 teaches that God’s grace is never a reason to keep sinning. In these verses, Paul explains that believers are joined to Christ, called to live differently, and warned that sin and obedience lead in very different directions.
Romans 7:1–6; Romans 7:7–12; Romans 7:13–25
