Printing tipsThe story behind the craft
Bible passage: Genesis 2:7–25; 3:1–24
God gives Adam and Eve a home in Eden and a command to keep. They listen to the serpent, disobey and hide, but God comes looking for them and clothes them before they leave the garden.
Main takeaway: Our choices matter, and we can be honest with God when we do wrong.
While you colour the bookmarks
Follow the scenes: Adam & Eve in the Garden; The serpent tempts Eve; Adam & Eve hide after disobeying; They leave Eden with God’s promise.
Use the separate bookmark pictures to retell the account and connect each one with the moment it represents.
Follow the change from life in the garden to hiding and leaving. Talk about the difference between making an excuse and telling the truth.
Younger learners can arrange the scenes with an adult. Older learners can choose a bookmark, locate the corresponding passage and explain its place in the wider story.
Questions to explore
