Jesus comes to John at the Jordan to be baptised. As Jesus comes out of the water, the Spirit descends like a dove and a voice from heaven calls him God’s beloved Son.

How do I turn the sheet into a scroll?
Colour the illustrated page and roll its two side edges towards the centre. For a sturdier classroom version, attach the side edges to two paper straws or wooden craft sticks and roll them inwards. Unroll the page gradually as you retell or read it. For a Bible reading to accompany this activity, use Matthew 3:13–17.
