Time & preparation

Check the file before you print for a group, and allow for any extra help the kids might need.
Printing tipsThe story behind the craft
Bible passage: Matthew 28:16–20
The risen Jesus meets his disciples and sends them to make disciples among all nations. He tells them to baptise and teach, and promises to be with them.
Main takeaway: Jesus sends his followers to share and teach his good news.
While you colour the panels
Read the panels in order, pausing at a change in a character’s action or understanding.
Find the actions go, make disciples, baptise and teach in the passage. Discuss sharing faith respectfully, including listening to others.
Younger learners can describe an action in one panel. Older learners can compare a caption with its Bible passage and discuss what a short comic leaves out.
Questions to explore
- What did Jesus ask his followers to do?
