Mark 1:21–28; Luke 4:31–37
Jesus teaches in the synagogue at Capernaum, and the people notice at once that his words carry authority. Then a man with an unclean spirit cries out, and Jesus shows that his authority is seen in both what he says and what happens next.
Mark 4:21–25; Luke 8:16–18
Jesus uses the picture of a lamp and repeated warnings about hearing. This lesson helps children notice what Jesus says about light being seen and about listening carefully to his teaching.
Mark 4:26–29

Luke 2:41–52

Luke 6:20–45

Jesus visits Martha’s house, and two sisters respond to him in different ways. This lesson helps children retell the account in order, notice each woman’s choice, and hear Jesus’ words about what is needed.
Luke 11:5–8
Jesus told a short parable about a late-night request for bread. In this lesson, children hear the problem in the story, notice how the neighbour answers, and explain what changes the outcome.
